IMPHAL, December 6: Coalition for Indigenes’ Right Campaign (CIRCA); Assam Sanmilita Mahasangha (ASM) and Assam Meitei ApunbaLup (AMAL) will be jointly organizing the 1st Northeast Indigenous Peoples’’ Parliament 2015 from December 8 to 10 at Kangshang, Khuman Lampak.
Representatives from various indigenous people of the north east will take part in the parliament during which certain issues including challenges and survival of tribe, human rights, economy and development, Act East Policy, foreign direct investment, population influx, identity crisis, land and natural resources, culture, education and languages will be discussed at length.
