CHURACHANDPUR, December 11: The long anticipated Cold Storage for the Churachandpur District Hospital morgue where the nine tribal martyrs are kept for precisely 102 days now arrived this noon today.
The Director of Health Services had assured that the facility will arrive by December 9.
The cold storage arrived along with three engineers from the Guwahati based company which is providing the facility.
The engineers, it is learnt that will be staying here and assemble the cold storage facility immediately at the district hospital morgue.
In another development in the district hospital today, the HDFC Churachandpur Branch initiated a blood donation campaign with 20 Class XI students of Rayburn College and five personnel of the 7 Assam Rifles donated blood.
