IMPHAL, Dec 18: The Governor of Manipur has been holding interactions with the different sections of the people of Manipur and people belonging to different fields at the Raj Bhavan, Imphal, said a statement of the Governor’s Secretariat.
The Governor interacted with principals of 28 government colleges in the State and advised them to nurture the students to become good citizens of the country.
It said it is part of an initiative taken by the Governor to gain first-hand knowledge of the rich traditions and culture of the State and issues of public interest.
The second such interaction was held on December 16 with the church leaders such as Archbishop, fathers of Christian Institutions and Churches of the State, it said.
It also said that furthering the initiative, the Governor interacted with the prominent artistes/ artists/ musicians of the State on December 17.
He also appreciated the activities of the artistes/ artists/ musicians for keeping the rich traditions alive.
