IMPHAL, Dec 17: Geological Society of India is organizing an International Earth Science Olympiad 2016 at the Department of Earth Sciences Manipur University on January 16, 2016 wherein an entrance test will be held, informed a press release of Department of Earth Sciences.
Students born after January 7, 1997 who will be studying in Class IX, X, XI and XII may participate in the entrance test. The 1½ hour long test to be conducted in English comprises objective type questions spanning the Geosphere, Atmosphere, Hydrosphere and Astronomy.
20 students who will be chosen in order of limit will attend a training camp and they will represent India at 10th IESO to be held in Japan. Last date of submission of application form is January 10, the release said.
