IMPHAL, Dec 8: A combined team of Thoubal district police commando and 22 Assam Rifles arrested an active member of KCP (MC) during search operation conducted in an around Charangpat area Thoubal district on December 6, said a statement of the PRO Police department.
The arrested cadre has been identified as Maibam Roshan alias Helen Singh, 26, s/o Maibam Ram Singh of Charangpat Maning Leikai.
A live round each of INSAS and AK-47 ammunition were seized from his possession, it said.
While a case has been reportedly registered at the Thoubal police station, investigation is said to be underway.
