IMPHAL, December 11: The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (Poirei Meitei Lup) has lifted the ban imposed on Manipur University following compliance to the outfit proposals by Vice-Chairman and FO of the university regarding maintenance of academic atmosphere and construction work.
According to a statement signed by publicity secretary of KCP (Poirei Meitei Lup) Malemnganba Meetei, Vice-Chairman, FO and authority of the university were asked by the outfit to maintain academic atmosphere and construction work of the university which has now been followed.
Clarifying that the outfit had imposed the ban following an extensive survey on the maintenance of the university which was conducted for the betterment of the institution, the KCP (Poirei Meitei Lup) in the statement hailed the university authority for assuring that earnest efforts will be put in to make the university an ideal educational institution.
