IMPHAL, January 17: An awareness programme cum voluntary blood donation camp was organized jointly by Pioneer Club, Lamdeng Makha Leikai; Life Savers Manipur and Welfare Association for the Blind Manipur, Takyel at Rural Development Organization, Lamdeng in Imphal West today.
A total of 67 people donated blood in the camp during which Kh Premjit Singh; a regular voluntary blood donor was felicitated on his 50th voluntary blood donation.
MLA Lamsang constituency W Brajabidhu Singh and Ranage Forest Officer, Tamenglong attended the camp as chief guest and president respectively.
Director of SBTC Manipur Dr RK Rosie; Nodal Officer of CI College Dr S Samananda Singh and film producer Jugeshwori Seram were present as guests of honour.
