IMPHAL, January 14: A team of BJP Manipur today handed over some financial assistance to Sangai Express daily senior reporter A Jiten.
The team led by A Sarda Devi national vice-president BJP Manila Morcha also included N Itomba Meitei pramuk Imphal East District BJP Manipur Pradesh and Henkhollen Kipgen president BJP Sadar Hill District.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarda said it is unfortunate that assaulting media persons for simple reasons is a cowardly and uncivilised act.
