IMPHAL, January 7: Altogether 25 MLAs have announced to donate their one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the victims of the Earthquake occurred recently in the state.
In a joint statement signed by the MLAs, the decision to donate their salary was taken during a special meeting held on Thursday at the residence of Heingang MLA, N Biren. The meeting also condoled on the loss of lives and properties during the quake.
The MLAs are Dr Ng. Bijoy, K Ranjit, Yamthong Haokip, RK Anand, Md Fajur Rahim, W Brajabidhu Singh, P Brojen, Nemcha Kipgen, RK Imo, Md Amin Shah, M Prithiviraj, K Meghachandra, Ksh Biren, L Nandakumar, Y Surchandra, T Manga Vaiphei, MK Preshow, E Chand, Janghemlung Pamei, N Loken Singh, Kh Debendra, N Biren, Z Kikhonbou, Victor Keishing and TN Haokip.
