IMPHAL, January 24: BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba has hailed Amit Shah who was re-elected as the party national president again.
Chaoba, former Union minister who is currently camping in New Delhi said that Amit Shah’s re-election will help in garnering the party’s popularity in the north eastern region including Manipur.
He claimed that there has been remarkable improvement of the party in the region since Amit Shah worked as the party president and Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister.
Amit Shah became the party national president once again after he was elected in the election for the post unopposed held in the national capital today.
Chaoba said that under the leadership of Amit Shah as the party president, BJP has able to register 11 crores membership.
During his first term, the party achieved absolute majority in the last LS poll, he acknowledged.
He observed that the combination of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah has become the most perfect politician-pair.
