IMPHAL, January 13: The Imphal East district police commando reportedly arrested two active member of KCP (Military Joint Committee) from Patsoi area on January 11 during counter insurgency operation.
A statement issued by the PRO Manipur Police, stated that action on reliable information about the presence of some active members of KCP (Military Joint Committee) cadres in and around Patsoi area, a team of Imphal East district police commando conducted search operation and arrested the two active member of KCP (MJC).
They have been identified as one Khumanthem Rajen Kumar Singh alias Milen, 43, son of (L) Kh Iboton Singh of Awangkhunou Lamkhai and Konthoujam Kuber Singh alias RK, 42, son of K Mera Singh of Ukhongshang Mamang Leikai at present Haorang Shabal ,Lamsang.
A case has been registered at Patsoi police station and investigation is said to be going on, it said.
