IMPHAL, February 27: The Aam Aadmi party-Manipur urged the State Government to release new Manipur map with proper boundary allocation.

In statement, State coordinator Thoudam Manihar Singh said that the AAP executive meeting was held on February 26 in their office and discuss various issues and problems facing by the people of Manipur. In the meeting, the executives resolved the Government to release new Manipur map to the public.

Manihar said that the appealed was made under the Indian constitution article 1 and 4 of first schedule entry no 19 which mention that “the territory which immediately before the commencement of this constitution was being administered as if a chief commissioners province under the name of Manipur” and under entry no 16 “ the territory specified in sub-section, of section 3 of the state of Nagaland act, 1962”.

The AAP leader urged the government to release the Manipur map before merging to India and after merging to India.

He alleged that the Government of India has not interesting to safeguard the boundary territories of Manipur like Kashmir. The BJP led NDA government in the centre create communal tensions among us. The government could not stop unwanted activities taken in the National highways.
