KANGPOKPI, Feb.17: Kuki Students’ Organization-GHQ and All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has decided to temporarily suspend its proposed indefinite National highways bandh in the state schedule to begin this midnight, today.
The decision of the two student apex bodies was taken in a joint meeting held this afternoon in view of the February 16 cabinet meeting’s approval for recruitment of 1582 primary and 419 graduate teachers and the cabinet decision by taking up suitable policy decision to recruit the contract basis teachers of the hill schools under the directorate of education (S).
