IMPHAL, Feb 5: A bullet ridden body of a man was recovered just 10 minutes after he was forcibly whisked away by three masked man with guns from his residence in front of family members last night.
Sources said Salam Sanajoaba Meitei, 26, son of S Khamba Meitei was taken away at gun-point by the masked miscreants around 7pm from his residence at Sadu Yengkhoman Mayai Leikai under Sagolmang Police Station yesterday.
Sanajaoba was about to have his dinner when he was taken away, informed the source.
His body was recovered around 7:10pm from a roadside in his locality.
He was shot dead at a roadside nearby his residence.
Sanajaoba is a cadre of the KCP (MC) which is presently under Suspension of Operation with the government.
The police have registered a case in this regard.
