KANGPOKPI, Mar 14: The Mao Council in a press statement has lauded the recent developmental works implemented along the lifeline of the State especially between Mao-Maram sectors by a work agency.
While calling for maintaining standard quality as per the norms of developing the said highway which has been in the public domain as one of the most neglected portion of the highway, the Mao council noted that, it is the wish of the people to have good roads.
The council has also appealed to the public for fullest co-operation and support to maintain and develop the highway.
It stated that, “the Mao council is happy to recognize the good work of repairing the Mao- Maram sector of the National highway -2, which has enriched the life of public travelling along the route.
We laud the commendable work of contractor Vikram (Ms HVS) and hope that the high standard of work is maintained in the days to come for the interest of the public”.
