KANGPOKPI, Apr.6: The Senapati JAC under the banner of the All Manipur Police Constable male 2013 batch has announced a 48 hour “Economic Blockade” along Imphal-Dimapur road.
A statement issued by the Senapati JAC informed that endorsing the ongoing agitation called by JAC All Manipur Police constable 2013 batch, the Senapati JAC has also decided to join the said agitation by calling a 48-hour economic blockade along highway from April 7 midnight till April 9 midnight.
It has demanded the declaration of the said result within the 48hrs bandh failure of which, it will organize more agitations for which the State government should be held responsible.
It said that the the blockade is against the repeated apathy of the Manipur Government towards the issue of successful police constable male 2013 batch whose recruitment result are still kept pending till today since 2013.
The Senapati JAC in this regard has appealed to the general public for support and endorsement of the said issue which is long pending and has affected many youths.
Similar to the ongoing indefinite economic blockade along the NH-2 Imphal Moreh road, all commercial goods carrier, trucks ferrying essential items along the main lifeline of Imphal to Dimapur route will be restricted sternly, it said. It has also warned that, the said economic blockade will be strictly imposed during the 48hrs agitation.
