IMPHAL, Apr 26: Prof. Ch Arunkumar Singh department of Orthopedics, RIMS has been appointed as the director of Regional Institute of medical Sciences, according to an order issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi today, said a statement of the media advisor, RIMS.
It said Prof. Arunkumar will take charge tomorrow replacing prof. S Rita Devi as the director.
It may be mentioned that prof. Arunkumar was the director of RIMS from August 2014 to April 22, 2015, it said.
A farewell programme of prof. Rita will also he held tomorrow at A Block RIMS, it said.
