IMPHAL, Apr 4: The United People’s Party of Kangleipak, a signatory of the Memorandum of Understanding with the governments of India and Manipur since 2013 has been dissolved, said a press release of the outfit today.
The statement signed by its chairman A Bonbihari alias Laanngamba Luwang, general secretary N Shanti Meitei alias Chinglemba Mangang among other leaders of the outfit said the central committee of the outfit convened a meeting today and decided to dissolve the outfit.
It said both the UPPK and its armed wing Kangleipak People’s Army have been dissolved from today.
