IMPHAL, May 11: As announced earlier by JCILPS, a total bandh was imposed on NH-37 from Wahengbam Leikai to Keithelmanbi by the people of respective localities pressing the demand for enforcement of ILPS in the State today.
Although, JCILPS had announced to clamp the bandh from 1 pm to 2 pm, a large number of bandh supporters started imposing the bandh well before 12 noon.

At Patsoi Part-III, the bandh supporters forced an Assam Rifles convoy to return.
Later, a rally was taken out from Patsoi to Langjing. Most of the lanes and roads that connect with NH-37 were also blocked by bandh supporters at Patsoi.
