BISHNUPUR, May 25: A book titled “Anouba Warep” authored by Abujam Ibopishak Luwang was released in a solemn function held at Manipur State Central Library today.
The book was released in connection with the 59th foundation day of Meeyamgi Apunba Khorjei Lup (IMAKHOL), Awang Potsangbam.
The book release was attended by Chief Librarian of MSC Library E Latakeshwor as chief guest; retired Joint Director (Art & Culture) S Bheighya as president and president of IMAKHOL Kesho Irengba as guest of honour.
Dr Saratchandra Longjamba of DM College of Arts and former president of NAHAKHOL Kunjo Ningomba jointly discussed the book during the function.
It may be mentioned that “Anouba Warep” is the translation of the Hindi book “Nav Bidhan” translated by Pushpa Goel from the original book written by famous Bengali writer Sharatchandra.
