IMPHAL, May 24: A State commando attached to the Bishnupur Commando shot dead a VDF personnel around 7pm with a licensed double barrel gun at Kwakta Maronglou over some monetary issues, according to reliable source.
Sources identified the commando personnel as Md Ali alias Tomba and the VDF personnel as Md Rashid.
Both are said to be from Kwakta.
Meanwhile, soon after the incident, a mob burned down the house of Md Ali.
