IMPHAL, May 25: The BJP Imphal East district has alleged that people are suffering as the State government failed to take up preventive measures with regard to flood control.
A statement of the party said, in Khundrakpam constituency vegetable fields and paddy fields have been inundated at places including Uyumpok and Lamboikhul. It has demanded immediate relief from the government including safe drinking water to the affected areas.
