Imphal, 22 Feb : A HE-36 hand grenade has been defused around 8:10 pm at the foothills of Langathel Moirang Leikai.
It is reported that the hand grenade was found while the volunteers of that locality were conducting a social service. As soon as they found it, they informed about it to the nearest police station.
Later, a team of Khongjom Police Station along with the CID Bomb Squads defused the grenade safely.
