IMPHAL, Jun 7: Kanglasha UM Dealership was inaugurated today at Tulshi Motors, Khoyathong DM College road followed by the launch of two UM motorcycles, the Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sports S, along with a road show.
Naharolgi Thoudang chief editor Khoirom Loyalakpa, UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt Ltd CEO Rajeev Mishra and Kanglasha UM director Sinam David attended the function as the presidium members.
Speaking at the event, Loyalakpa said that the new UM motorcycles would greatly benefit the adventurous people of the State. Rajeev Mishra said that Kanglasha UM Dealership is the first in Imphal and there are only 45 dealers in the whole country and added that steps would be taken to increase the number of dealers within a short period of time.
The new Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S are aimed at adventurous bike lovers who cannot afford costly and expensive bikes.
He further assured that UM servicing centre would be available at Imphal. Sinam David said that the new bikes would immensely benefit bike lovers and also people from remote areas of the State.
He also expressed belief that the newly launched bikes would be loved by the bikers of the State. The Renegade Commando has a 279.5 cc engine and weighs 179 kilograms.
It is 2257 mm long, 780 mm wide, has a wheelbase of 1545 mm and a minimum ground clearance of 200 mm.
It has a fuel tank capacity of 18 litres and costs Rs 1,85,177. The Renegade Sports S bike has a 279.5 cc engine, weigh 177 kilograms, is 2227 mm long and 780 mm wide. It has a wheelbase of 1545 and a ground clearance of 200 mm.
It also has a fuel tank capacity of 18 litres and costs Rs 1,79,399.
