The Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Churachandpur Unit organised a one day Special Outreach Programme on Integrated Campaign on Intensified Mission Indradhanush, Mission Parivar Vikas, Tuberculosis and Leprosy at Molvom village in Churachandpur district today.

Speaking on the occasion as the Chief Guest, SDO Sangaikot, Shri Zosanglur Joute, MCS stated that efforts are being made for proper implementation of the Government of India welfare schemes.

Shri Henkholun Doungel, District youth coordinator, NYK spoke of the importance of Youth Club and emphasize that a Youth Club is a must to have in a Village for its overall development.

Shri Jamminthang Baite, Chief of Molvom Village, thanked Officials of the Government of India and the State Government for its initiative in making awareness programme in a rural setting like Molvom Village.

Regional Director, DFP Nagaland & Manipur Region Mangjangam Touthang, IIS shared the importance of awareness especially on Government of India Health Schemes for Holistic development of the villagers

District Family Welfare Officer, Churachandpur, Dr Jamthianlal, District Leprosy Officer, Churachandpur, Dr Kimneihlam and Senior Treatment Supervisor TB Centre Churachandpur Miss Kimneiting Vaiphei spoke on the occasion as the resource persons. Earlier a public rally was flagged off by the Chief guest. Around 140 people attended the programme. Other highlights of the programme include a Healthy Baby Show and an on the spot quiz competition.
