Thamarjit Karam (47) who was elected to the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly from Keirao Assembly Constituency on Manipur State Congress Party (MSCP) ticket passed away yesterday night at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi due to an illness.
He is survived by his wife and a son.
The body will be brought to Imphal Tulihal Airport tomorrow morning and last rites will be performed at his birthplace at Kyamgei Mamang Leikai.
Keirao Assembly Youth Congress Committee, Kyamgei Youth Pioneer Club and United Labours & Peasants Organisation have deeply condoled the untimely demise of the ex-MLA.
