IMPHAL April 9:The All Zeliangrong Students`™ Union `“ Assam Manipur & Nagaland (AZSU-AMN) and Zeliangrong Students`™ Union Manipur (ZSUM) congratulated to all Zeliangrong Students who were successful in the recently concluded 3rd mathematics competition from class VI to IX under the aegis of the Union.
The union has a high lofty dream that these outstanding students would bring laurels to the society in the days to come said a press release by Panmei Tingenlung, President, AZSU-AMN and Nicodemus Riamei, Education Secretary, ZSUM.
Successful students of the competition would be accoladed with prizes and awards and the union is organizing an event of felicitation cum prize distribution on April 14 at Majorkhul community hall, Imphal.
The union strongly believes that encouraging the young and talented minds will accelerate zeal and enthusiasm among the promising students`™ community. The union felt that striving for academic excellence by imparting quality education especially mathematics to the zeliangrong students is imperative as the zeliangrong community lagged far behing from other tribal communities particularly in education and social development. The zeliangrongs were not able to et lucrative jbs and were facing the menace of unemployment among the educated youths due to the lack of quality education, the release stated.
