IMPHAL, Sept, 14: Activists of the MEELAL, which have been launching a campaign for development of Meitei script, stopped the observation of Hindi Diwas at GM Hall, Imphal today.
Activists of the MEELAL stormed the observation venue and forcibly stopped the Hindi Diwas observation allegedly for failing to include Meitei script on the backdrop banner of the observation which was organised by the Manipur Rastrabhasha Prachar Samiti.
