IMPHAL, August 13: Troops of 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operations in Chikkim Veng and Ward No.7, Moreh of Chandel district and apprehended two UGs cadres on 11-12 August, 2012. The apprehendees were identified as Lettinmamg of KNLA, 33, son of Shokhai, a residence of Chikkim Veng, Moreh and Ranjit alias Abung of PREPAK, 30, son of Amusangh of Ward No. 7 Moreh. Two .32 Pistols with magazines and ten live rounds were recovered from the apprehendees who alongwith recoveries were handed over to Imphal West police station, a release said.
