IMPHAL, October 13: The Joint Administrative Council, JAC of All Manipur Trade Unions Council, AMTUC urged the state chief minister to enhance their Dearness Allowance at par with the employees and pensioners under Central Government.
In a statement, the JAC stated the state government has accepted to adopt the 6th Central Pay in toto to the state employees and pensioners as per MoU signed between government of Manipur and JAC of AMTUC & AMGEO, Manipur.
It further requested to grant DA/DR does to 65 per cent with effect from 01-01-2012 and 72 per cent with effect from 01-07-2012 vide govt of India, ministry of finance, department of expenditure’s office.
