IMPHAL, October 22: Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) in association with the Presidency College, Motbung will be organizing a four-day training workshop on Science Writing/Journalism for Senapati district, catalyzed and supported by NCSTC, Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India during November 13-16 at Presidency College, informed a press release from MASTEC.
It said the objective of the workshop is to train budding science writers to enhance science coverage in various forms of media in the state in which a series of lectures accompanied by discussions, practical on script development and presentation of papers etc will be the main activities of the programme.
Target participants will be the interested individuals, science teachers in colleges, schools, universities, science NGOs, media organizations, science workers in Govt departments etc working or living in Senapati district and the candidate should be at least a graduate in science, the release added.
