IMPHAL, Sept 14: Justice for Boxer Sarita` a joint Campaign by Manipur Olympic Association and The Editors Guild Manipur EGM, would like to appeal to our generous citizens to donate generously to `Justice For Boxer Sarita campaign` to enable her to meet the fine of $ 2000 (Rs.1,20,000/- approx) imposed on her by International Boxing Association for her refusal to accept injustice at the hands of the bias judges at Incheon Asian Games, said a statement of the Editors Guild Manipur.
`So far 79 people have donated over Rs.70,000/-. As the AIBA has set September 30 as the last date of payment of fine amount, we shall be closing the campaign by September 25.`
`Therefore kindly donate generously before 25 September. Payments may be made to the Office of Sangai Express (editor, Khogendra Khomdram), Kangla Pao (editor P Labango) and Impact TV (editor-in-chief Yumnam Rupachandra).`
`At present Sarita is undergoing intense training for Rio Olympic Games under `Olympic Gold Quest` program taken up by Foundationfor promotion of Sports and games a not for profit company promoted by Indian sports legend GeetSethi and Prakash Padukon,` it said.
