IMPHAL, Jan 18: A team of Narcotics and Affairs of Border Police Station along with Imphal East District Police and officials of Central Forest Division, Forest Department, Manipur destroyed about 21 acres of poppy plants which were illegally cultivated on the hill slope of Nongmaijing Hill range under Lamlai Police Station on January 16.
PRO Police Department in a press release said a case has been registered at NAB Police Station and investigation is going on.
