IMPHAL, October 8: The Lok Janshakti Party, Langthabal Kendra Committee has today organized a reception ceremony of former NCP candidate of Langthabal a/c Dr Rebika Naorem at Puthiba Lampak Lilong Chajing Mairenkhong into the party.
Speaking at the function, Rebika pledged her steady support to the LJP candidate from Langthabal Kendra in the forthcoming 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly election Karam Shyam Singh.
Driven by the force to work for the development of her constituency, she had contested the previous election, however was defeated, she stated and added that she was approached by others who are aspiring to contest in the coming election to support them.
However after going examining them, she found that K Shyam could be the best candidate for the forthcoming election and as such she has decided to pledge her support to him.
Meanwhile, speaking at the reception ceremony, K Shyam expressed his gratefulness to Rebika and her sympathizers for pledging their support for him and maintained that he will never forget the support and believe of Rebika and her sympathizers.
He also stated that once he is elected he will try his level best to bring development to the constituency as is the general wish of the people of the constituency.
None of the elected representatives of the constituency has ever done something which could be acknowledged by the people.
