IMPHAL, June 30: The Manipur People’s Party (MPP) Saturday said the party is unhappy over the increasing controversies allegedly aroused by the Congress led government in the state in the last one decade.

Asking why the result of the recently held state MBBS/BDS entrance examination 2012 was repeatedly declared on June 22 and 23 after it had already been declared earlier on June 11, MPP said dozens of complaints have been flooding in from different sections of the society in the state as the government Medical Department failed to maintain its own order.

The government should consider about all the painstaking efforts made by parents and guardians of the students who had appeared in the MBBS/BDS entrance exam 2012, the regional party said.

It said the government should stop the way it conducts the selection and appointment of candidates like purchasing commodities from market by bargaining of price in the interest of the public.

Good officer, teacher, engineer, doctor and police officer cannot be produced in the state until and unless the government refrains from such practice, MPP asserted.

The party also alleged that the all India topper of CBSE exam 2012 of class XII, Ismat Khan could not do so if it was an exam conducted by BOSEM.

In the circumstances, MPP said it strongly urges the state government to solve the issue of MBBS/BDS entrance exam 2012 at the earliest to console the candidates and their guardians in particular and the public in general.
