DIMAPUR, Oct 26 (Newmai News Network): To the stand of S.S. Khaplang which said `the political destiny of the Nagas living in Myanmar should be left to the people of Myanmar and the political destiny of people living in Nagaland should be left to the Nagas of Nagaland,` the NSCN faction led by Khole and Kitovi Zhimimi has lauded.
“The GPRN/NSCN (group led by Khole and Kitovi) whole heartedly conveys our appreciation to Inno S.S. Khaplang, the president of NSCN (K) for clearly spelling out his political roadmap through his letter to the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR).
The Khole/Kitovi group said it will extend all possible help towards the suffering of Naga brothers living in Myanmar and “we are thankful to you for assuring that Nagas of Myanmar will create no problems and will not stand as a hindrance towards the political destiny of Nagaland”.
“The truce signed between Myanmar Government and Nagas of Myanmar under S.S. Khaplang leadership is good news for Nagas in general. It is sign of positive transformation for the displaced Nagas of Myanmar to re-organise themselves. S.S. Khaplang has spelled out very clearly that the political destiny of the Nagas living in Myanmar should be left to the people of Myanmar and the political destiny of people living in Nagaland should be left to the Nagas of Nagaland,” the NSCN faction headed by Khole Khole-Kitovi lauds Khaplangand Kitovi added.
It then wishes for an early solution to the decade’s old political conflict between the Government of Myanmar and Nagas of Myanmar. “We appreciate S.S. Khaplang for clearing his position to the Nagas,” it further lauded.
