IMPHAL, Dec 20: A woman has filed an RTI application to the PIO/Superintendent CMC hospital seeking information regarding the treatment of his 30-year-old son, (L) Thangjam Dayananda Singh at CMC hospital, Koirengei.
According to the application, Thangjam Dayananda Singh, aged about 30 son of Thangjam Pratibhamaya Singh and Thangjam (O) Bilabati Devi of Uripok Tourangbam Leikai was admitted to the Catholic Medical Centre (CMC) hospital on November 23. Operation was to be done on November 24 however her son started having some problems after being taken to the OT and was referred to RIMS and expired on November 30, the application said.
It has sought information on the details of the tests conducted/medicines provided by the hospital before Thangjam Dayananda Singh was taken to the operation theatre on November 24; if all the tests required to be done before anaesthesia was administered were done and if done provide the information, results; details of the doctors who conducted the tests and the time the tests were conducted; details, procedures and time of administering anaesthesia to the patient; the time the patient started experiencing convulsion; details of the doctors and their specializations who attended the patient before and after the patient experiencing convulsion; details of the opinions/ recommendations given by the doctors before and after the patient experiencing convulsion.
