IMPHAL, Jan 18: Police fired several rounds of tear gas cells at Sangaiyumpham Cherapur Karathi Leikai under Thoubal police station this morning at around 8 am to disperse a mob of around 200 people, who were heading towards Laipot Loukon (paddy field) to dismantle a house built there, following a land dispute. According to sources, police personnel have been deployed to avoid any untoward incidents and 144 CRPC has been imposed in the areas neighbouring Sangaiyumpham and Khangabok.
