IMPHAL, Jan 18: The Zomi Students’ Federation, ZSF in the interest of the tribal of Manipur extend unconditional support to the one day general strike called by ATSUM from midnight of January 18, said a press release.
“It may also be mentioned that the demand for setting up of TET examination centre in all the district headquarters and Manipur State Commission for Scheduled Tribe, proper Implementation of Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste reservation policy, and the setting up of sufficient educational infrastructure in the hills district remain unfulfilled”, it said.
Therefore, it is imperative to any organisation or right thinking person who believed in the overall development of Manipur to lend a helping hand to these legitimate demands and give cooperation to the strike called by ATSUM, it said.
