IMPHAL, Dec 2: In a clarification to the news carried in the Imphal Free Press today, Kh. Herachandra Singh, the man who is supposed to be keeping two government jobs simultaneously said this is not true and that he had resigned his position as Graduate Teacher at the Tuining Jr. High School on July 1, 2014 and only then did he join as Asst Professor, Mathematics, at the NERIST, Arunachal Pradesh.
He said he had tendered his resignation to the Zonal Education Officer, Churachandpur on July 1, and this letter was forwarded to the Dy. Inspector of School (DDO), Zonal Education Office, Churachandpur on July 16, by the former.
However, although he had tendered his resignation, the Education Department probably because of intra-departmental miscommunication, listed his name amongst 31 Graduate Teachers transferred to new postings, and he was shown as transferred to Tokpa Kabui Jr HS.
