IMPHAL, Feb 17: The 22nd death anniversary of Rani Gaidinliu (Indian Freedom Fighter) was observed in all the Zeliangrong inhabited areas in Assam, Manipur and Nagaland.
At her birth place Longkao (Nungkao) village under Tousem sub-division of Tamenglong district, Heraka Committee Nungkao and other civil societies observed the anniversary and floral tribute paid to the statute of the departed leader`™s statute.
A similar observation was also held today at Tarung, Imphal organised by the Zeliangrong Baudi.
