UKHRUL, February 18: With a view to expediting the ongoing process of AADHAR enrolment in Ukhrul district, the task of enrolling household members has been entrusted to each locality in the district headquarters with effect from February 18 while plans are afoot to hold enrolment drive at all villages.
According to an official source, the task of enrolling household members under AADHAR has been entrusted to the authority of the 27 localities within the town areas on schedule wise basis so as to speed up the process starting on February 18 from Seipet Ramlung, Sangmayang, Mayotang and so on till May 22 as per the current target.
Accordingly, all the local committees have been directed to publicize the enrolment drive with immediate effect at their respective areas, said the source.
Meanwhile, sources from the processing agency In-Media disclosed that its officials are all set to tour different villages where similar enrolment drives would be organized.
