IMPHAL, March 19: The Joint Committee of Inner Line Permit System has stated that the Regulation of Visitors, Tenant Bill-2015 was made by Principal Home Secretary and Constitutional Experts of Delhi under the advice of Chief Minister of Manipur.
According to a release of the JCILPS, it appealed to the public, clubs and organisation to give positive criticism and to support the cause of the committee.
It further appealed to all to participate and make the movement of the committee complete for the sake of the future generation of the State.
The movement was started for the democratic right of the people which will help in the prevention of demographic invasion, it said.
The committee also stated that the Bill was made to protect the non-Manipuris instead of protecting the indigenous people.
The people will continue to stand against the Bill, it said.
