IMPHAL, Jun 14: Troops of the 24 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR has established a vehicle check post on NH `“ 102 at Sita Road Junction and apprehended an active cadre of UNLF on June 14.
A press release of the PRO IGAR (s) stated that the apprehendee was travelling in an ECO Van bearing Registration Number AS 01/ AY/ 9026, and heading towards Imphal.
The statement has identified the arrested as s/s Cpl H Moirangthem Bikramjit Singh alias Wadaba, 27, son of Binod Kumar Singh of Yairipok Kekru Makha Leikai, Thoubal and was handed over to the Tengnoupal Police Station, it said.
