IMPHAL, Jun 24: Deposition of one more prosecution witness in the case of arrest of RK Meghen alias Sanayaima, chairman of the banned United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and several other leaders of the outfit was taken before the Special Court of National Investigative Agency (NIA), Guwahati today.
The prosecution witness whose statement was recorded in connection with the ongoing trial of the outfit leaders has been identified as Dharmendra Sharma, Principal Secretary (Home) of Arunachal Pradesh.
He is said to have involved in the investigation by NIA when he was serving as the Joint Secretary of Internal Division, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
Along with taking deposition of the prosecution witness, RK Meghen and other leaders of the outfit who are in judicial custody were produced before the court.
