IMPHAL, Aug 9: The Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS) in collaboration with Caritas India and National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) Chandel District has conducted medical camp at K. Molnom village during which around 200 villagers of Gamngai, Phaiyang, Varkhu, Laitui, H. Champhai and Munnuamjang were treated.
According to a release of DSSS, Dr. Monoringa Sumpi, Dr. Kiran, Dr. Adinpa, Dr. Maya, nurses and several other paramedical staff attended the camp.
During the medical camp, Director of DSSS, Imphal Fr. Dominic Kanmi said, `Health issue is one of the immediate needs of the flood victims that need to be addressed`.
He also expressed gratitude to the medical team and the volunteers who came all the way to extend their services to the flood victims of Chandel.
