IMPHAL, September 10: Based on specific intelligence regarding movement of a UG cadre, troops of the 45 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) along with representatives from Lamlai Police Station established a vehicle check post in general area of Nongren and apprehended one KYKL cadre on September 9.
The apprehendee was identified as No 8428, SS Pvt Yumkhaibam Naoba Meitei, 24 alias Tunal alias Dinesh, son of Nongyai Meitei, resident of Tumukhong Mayai Leikai, Imphal East. He has been handed over to the Lamlai Police Station, said a press release of PRO IGAR (South).
