IMPHAL, Sept 26: A young housewife who was found dead inside her marital home after allegedly consuming poison yesterday morning around 9 has been found to be around one and half month pregnant during post mortem conducted today.
The woman is identified as Sapam (o) Toto alias Abe Devi wife of S Naoba Singh of Terakhongsangbi Mayai Leikai under Moirang Police Station. It is also learnt that their marriage has not completed even one year.
After the conduct of post mortem at the RIMS mortuary, her body was handed over to family members and the police has registered a case against the incident.
