IMPHAL, Sept 7: In continuation of the ongoing trial against the chairman of the outlawed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) RK Meghen alias Sanayaima and several other key leaders of the outfit in the Special Court of National Investigation Agency (NIA), Gauhati today, deposition of a police constable from Assam was taken.
The police constable who is the prosecution witness number 82 of the case is identified as Jadu Das.
Along with taking deposition of the prosecution witness, RK Meghen and other leaders of the outfit, who are facing trial based on the charge sheets framed against them by NIA, were produced before the court.
It is said that deposition of more prosecution witnesses of the case in the court will continue.
