IMPHAL, Oct 2: The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights has urged the SP Imphal West to furnish the FIR and post mortem report regarding the death of gird child Ibemma on or before October 29, said a press release issued by the DIPR.
It said the MCPCR had conducted a spot visit and made enquiry on October 17 and viewed the unfortunate incident as a serious violation of child rights.
It is said that the child was scolded at and beaten to death by her adopted family members at their rented room at North AOC, it said.
While the alleged culprits were trying to throw away the child`™s body, the neighbours apprehended the alleged culprits and handed over to the police, it said.
